The Endocrine Department
The Endocrine Department at the American Medical Center is a novel concept within the Cyprus Health Care System and its aim is to provide a series of complete services to patients with endocrine diseases.
Our Department is the first and only truly complete Endocrine Center in Cyprus, which through the expertise of our Endocrinologists and Endocrine surgeon, can offer the patients an accurate, fast, multidisciplinary and highly professional diagnosis and treatment.
The diagnostic evaluation and surgical consultation and management is performed in our state-of-the-art facilities at the American Medical Center, and are focused on patient’s comfort and needs.
Our Endocrinology services include the management of all endocrine diseases from thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary diseases to diabetes and osteoporosis, while surgical services include thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery, with special interest in thyroid cancer.
Apart from the main expertise of our highly trained and experienced Endocrinologists and Endocrine Surgeon, our Department is supported by an excellent group of specialists which includes:
Radiologists, Interventional Radiology Consultant, Histopathologists, Medical Oncology Consultant, Nuclear Medicine Specialist, Neurosurgeon and many others on demand, with the common aim to provide a patient centered care.
