Temporary Visitation Guidelines

Visitors are very important to the healing process of our patients. When it is safe and conditions permitting, we want visitors to be fully there for our patients.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are required to limit visitation in order to reduce the risk of spreading of this virus and to keep our patients, visitors, and team members safe. We work very hard to balance the needs of our patients and their families with the safety of all concerned.

Accordingly, our standard visitation policy is temporarily suspended, and until further notice, we will accommodate one 15 minute visit by a first degree relative per day.  The visit will be done prior to a confirmed telephone appointment.  Please contact us at +35722476777 for further information with regards to the restrictions currently in effect.

Finding Your Way

To help you find your way we have signage throughout our hospital or you can ask staff members on the front reception. In addition, all our patient rooms have single letter – 3-digit numbers. The letter indicates the section and the first digit indicates the floor.

S = Rooms prefix with S are located in the South part of the building, Section 1
C = Rooms prefix with C are located in the Central part of the building, Section 2
N = Rooms prefix with N are located in the North part of the building, Section 3
0 = Basement
1 = Ground floor
2 = First floor

Example: Room N107 is in the North part of the building, Section 3 on the ground floor.
If you become lost or would like help to your desired location, just ask any staff member.

Fire Safety

In the unlikely event of a fire emergency, you will hear an alarm followed by an announcement. If this happens, please stay in the patient’s room and wait for instructions from a staff member. Our entire staff is fully trained to respond to emergency situations. AMC has routine fire drills so that we can rapidly respond to emergencies.

Smoking Policy

To provide a healthy healing environment for our patients, AMC is a “No Smoking” facility.

Valuables

Please do not bring valuables with you to the hospital.
AMC is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.

Here are a few other things we want you to consider as you visit your loved ones:

  • Please help us to keep the hospital quiet by speaking softly and avoiding unnecessary noise.
  • Family and visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments, or when the doctor or nurse needs to examine the patient.
  • Wash your hands when you get here and before you leave—we don’t want you to take any germs with you.
  • Please don’t come to visit if you feel sick. You may spread your germs to your loved one or others.
  • All children must be supervised by an adult at all times and cannot be left alone with the patient.
